Lovely private museum with lots of artifacts from all over the Middle East. I recommend checking this place out if you have a little extra time and enjoy history. The owner is a delightful man who’s incredible to chat with and knows so much of Oman’s history!

We went there after checking Google that its open. We went there and there was a gardener there. He checked inside and came out telling us its closed and come back later. There was also a guard dog there who started barking at me and ran after me. I ran out and closed the gate just in time. There was another group of visitors who came at the same time and were turned back. Very disappointing to see visitors being turned away like that and that too when a lot of tourists were visiting Muscat.

A unique and interesting cultural place exhibiting rare historical artifacts. Worth visiting.
